Patented in 1912 by the A.S. Campbell Company of Boston, Massachusetts, it was marketed as "The Sanitary Hot Water Bottle" "Guaranteed Five Years"! Apparently it was indeed well made as it remains in great condition some 90+ years later! Some light surface scratching typical of its age to its metallic exterior and a little blob of white paint on the backside that can be easily removed.
