Measuring 11 inches in length when hanging, these fabulous 1890s German doctor's pan scales make a simply stunning display piece! Capable of weighing up to 50 grams, the scale is constructed brass with pans made of a light-weight, amber-colored material. The scale is marked "50g" on back and on front, "General Scientific Company" "Made in Germany" along with an "arrow" symbol with a "K" inserted in the arrow's center. All original condition with the exception of replaced hanging strings. Wonderful, rich, warm patina to both brass and pans! |
