Measuring 17 inches in length, this Mammy Half-doll was designed as a fancy toaster cover up! From the waist up, she appears to be a typical hand-made mammy doll, but in reality, her waist sits on a 4 x 6 inch piece of fabric-covered cardboard, designed to support her on the kitchen appliance she is to cover up! Dressed in a bright turquoise and white checked dress accented with white ruffles at arms and neckline, Mammy also wears a matching head scarf. Her face is hand-stitched, with button eyes accessorized with pearl hoop earrings! A charming kitchen accent piece! |
