Offered is a near perfect, vintage 1940s, pharmacy "tool-of-trade" labeled "B-D MEDICINAL COMPRESSOR for making TABLETS". This instrument shows minimal signs wear and is complete with box and instructional inserts (marked with a 1940 copyright). The compressor can make both tablets and suppositories. The plunger stem has 2 sets of markings and is used as a measurement scale for proper dosing. Constructed of chrome-plated steel (?) and a hard rubber handle (which is slightly split on the underside and edge). Measures almost 8 inches long when closed. |
