Maione then moved to Pownal, VT where he lived and worked for several years before traveling through Europe and eventually settling in Italy. He returned to New York in the late 70‘s. Maione exhibited extensively including the National Academy of Design, the Salmagundi Club, the Allied Artists of the Americas and numerous galleries in Washington, DC . His works were included in “The Realistic Tradition” at the State University of New York.
