Joseph Langsdale Pickering (English, 1845-1912)

A member of the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street and Royal Institute of Painters in Oil-Colours, Pickering was best known for his landscapes, country subjects and rural genre scenes. He exhibited extensively at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street, showing more than 70 works over 30 years.
