The chairs are larger than many in this simplified fern pattern and quite comfortable to sit in. Table is 25" high by 39" in diameter. A nice, and rare, example of a nineteenth century cast iron bench in the gothic style. This design was manufactured by the Val d'Osne foundry in France and Coalbrookdale in England, and, though not easily found, in the US. This example is from a Philadelphia estate and the casting is so much finer than with 20th century reproductions. 33" high by 39" wide by 23" deep/ repainted in dark green. Some old repairs but in very good condition.

A rare set of wrought iron garden table and four side chairs with the Carre style sunburst seat chairs and flared backs. The same flared strap steel design is displayed in the circular table. The chairs American ca 1950; the table possibly French perhaps a little earlier. The chairs are each 33" high by 18" wide by 20" deep. The table is 29" high by 32" in diameter. All in good condition, recently re-painted.

Rare example of a Carre style loveseat with sunburst seat and flare back strap metal back, and two matching armchairs, American ca 1960. This is the only loveseat in this design I have seen. The loveseat is 36" high by 44" wide by 26" deep. The armchairs re 32" high by 265.5" wide by 27" deep. These pieces have been sand-blasted and powder coated in white and are in very nice condition.

A rare example of a cast iron garden bench in the lyreback pattern, along with a matching pair of side chairs. This design goes back to Philadelphia in the 1840's, but is usually found only as single chairs. The only other bench I have come across had a very narrow seat (see item # 1009065), whereas this example has the same generous size seat as the chairs - which are very comfortable. The bench is 32" high by 48" long by 22" deep. Chairs are 32" high by 21" wide by 22" deep...
