A very nice example of an antique cast iron garden bench in the rare passion flower pattern from Hinderer's Iron Works, New Orleans ca 1900. Stamped "Hinderers Iron Wks N O LA", the bench is in very fine condition - no breaks or repairs. Nuts and bolts have been replaced within last 20 years. 33.5" high by 40" wide by 28" deep. Painted a very dark shade of green.

An unusually sturdy antique American wirework bench ca 1890. Bench has an unusually tall back as well as some nice decorative elements. Bench is 39" high by 46.5" wide by 21" deep. Some wear at arms, otherwise excellent condition.

A very nice example of a British staddle stone with a fine accretion of old lichen to decorate the top. The piece is 26" high by 16" in diameter at the top and approximately 11" square at the base. In very nice condition.

A striking ceramic figure of a lion from the historic Castelnaudary works in France, nineteenth century. Traces of the original baked on color remain, though the depiction is as lively as it ever was. Marked Catelnaudary Ceramiques. Figure is 30" high by 24" wide by 10" deep. Some chips, condition commensurate with age.

An intriguing carved limestone figure that was originally perhaps an architectural element. Much weather worn with moss and lichen growth. Head has been re-attached with some fine stone aggregate; similar repair to one shoulder. Origin unknown. Very nice piece of garden decor. 41" high by 13" wide by 10" deep.

A rare pair of cast iron garden urns each marked Kramer Bros Dayton Ohio, early 1900's, in the Prairie architect/ Lloyd Wright style. Very few of these were produced. Each is approximately 37" high by 28.5" wide by 18" square at base. A few minor variations as one was cast earlier than the other. Both have been sand blasted, primed with a zinc coat and re-painted. In very good condition.

Rare hand carved limestone sculpture of rustic boy/shepherd playing a flute, British, nineteenth century. Wonderful patina of limestone aged outdoors with accretions of moss and lichen. 45" high by 13" wide by 15" deep. In very good condition.

An unusual pair of tall hand carved limestone finials, Italian, probably eighteenth century. Slender pyramidal cones with corbels surmounted by fleur de lis. Wonderful patina with patches of heavy moss and orange lichen. One petal missing from one of the fleurs. Each 48" high by 7" square at base. Condition good, commensurate with age.

A very nice pair of hand carved stone finials on square bases, European, possibly eighteenth century. Each is carved from a single piece of stone and is covered in large amounts of old moss and lichen. Each is 24" high and 10.5" square at base. A few more recent nicks, condition good and commensurate with age.

A very nice antique bronze by the Spanish sculptor Joaquimm Angles (1859-1925), late 19th or early 20th century. It portrays a young shepherd who has caught the rapt attention of one of his flock of young goats by his playing of the pan pipes. This is a traditional bronze which has been extensively patinated through its use as a garden sculpture in the home of a Southern collector, something I think that adds to its charm. Signed "Angles S". 35" high by 14" by 13". In good condition.

A very nice example of an antique American cast iron White House bench (one has resided in the White House garden for many years). Provenance; a private owner in New England. Originally produced by the Carron foundry in Scotland in the 1840's the pattern has be re-produced by the Coalbrookdale Co amongst others over the years. The smaller size bench is more typically found in the US, this, the full size being much rarer...

An antique Victorian store tobacco cutter in cast iron featuring a boy straddling the cutter and thumbing his nose, American ca 1880. No maker's mark. Very unusual to find this piece in vivid color; typically it is in base metal without paint. Well used but colors are bright and well preserved. 7.5" high by 13" long bv 3" wide. In very good condition.
