An American cast iron garden bench in the curtain style marked "John McLean Maker", New York late nineteenth century. The bench is in excellent condition and sports its original zinc coating. 37.5" high by 46" wide by 20" deep. Please see my blog.

A difficult to find double garden gate in wrought iron, American nineteenth century. Each section is 36" high by 24" wide to fit a four foot opening. Rusty, but well built with all elements intact.

Antique hand-carved walnut wall display shelf in the form of a shell supported by a putto and scrolled design elements, nineteenth century European. 20" high by 17" wide by 12" deep. Missing a little of the shelf border; minor repairs, otherwise good condition.

A very nice and rare antique cast iron garden urn in the classic campagne style, American ca 1860-70. Marked twice as "Wood & Perot makers Phila" and "Chase & Co NY". Wood and Perot was one of the earliest makers of cast iron garden items; Chase & Co, oddly enough, is associated usually with Boston. 20.5" high by 17" in diameter with a 9" square base. An excellent casting in fine condition. Old green paint finish.

Classic simple cup-shaped antique cast iron garden urn, ca 1870. Best for the table top on a small patio or as a decorative vase indoors. 14.5" high by 16" in diameter with an 8.5" square base. Old black paint finish.

A very nice hand-wrought iron table in the art nouveau style, French early twentieth century. Retaining much its original paint this exhibits a fine balance between the formal and lyrical elements of its design. The table base is 29" high by 49" wide by 30" deep. Excellent for the conservatory or garden. In very good condition.

Very nice lead fountain figure of a boy playing pan pipes, probably British ca 1900. Nice patina. 37.5" high by 12" wide by 12" deep. In good condition.

Very nice pair of antique stone decorative fruit baskets, nineteenth century European. Hand-carved in limestone they have a natural symmetry and elegance. From the Cape Cod estate of a Boston art dealer. Each is 13" high by 14" wide by 15" deep. A few chips and natural weathering, otherwise good condition.

An unusual antique Carre style sprung steel garden armchair in a more relaxed "lounge back" stance, French or American ca 1910. 30.5" high by 23.5" wide by 29" deep. It has been media blasted, zinc coated and powder coated in white. In very good condition.

Very rare piece from the Portland Stoneware Company in Maine, ca 1880. The company manufactured glazed stoneware garden fixtures, alongside its more arcane products, designed to thrive in the severe New England climate. Most unusual are the cobalt glazed figures that provide the decorative frieze reminiscent of other British forms of "the Portland Vase". Marked "Portland Stoneware Co #354". An unusual set of four diminutive antique cast iron urns in the campagna style with an old paint finish, ca 1900. These would be great used indoors for small topiaries or other decorative arrangements. Each is approx. 10" high with an 8" diameter. Condition commensurate with age.

A particularly elegant pair of hand-wrought garden gates with floral and foliate elements punctuating the elaborate scrolling, early 1900's. Each gate is 63" high by 24.5" wide. They have been stripped, rust-proofed and re-painted. Some surface loss through rust; virtually all elements intact.
