Pair of cast concrete urns by renown Prairie style architect George Washington Maher from the Wilmette district of Chicago's North Shore 1905. Slight damage to upper lip of one and base of other. Old paint. Very graphic lines characterise these urns - long, sleek and low. Each piece is 36" in diameter; opening is 23" diam., height is 18".

Detailed metal leaves with central flower surmounted by 3 graceful banded legs ending in a turned leaf design supporting the plate itself with broken leaf-like raised edges.
