A rare pair of "Grecian" garden urns in cast iron from the Kramer Bros. Foundry, Dayton Ohio, early twentieth century. Strong classic art deco design. Each carries the manufacturer's mark. Each urn is 40" high; 28.5" wide ear to ear;18" wide bowl diameter at top; 20" base diameter. Both urns have been stripped, zinc coated and powder coated in a matte black. In very good condition.

Garden table in the New Orleans style (see G Himmelheber "Cast Iron Furniture" fig. 242) of wrought and cast iron with foliate design top and cabriole legs, American late 19th century. 25" high by 39" wide; 34" at base. Black, with layers of old paint; otherwise fine condition.

A rare small garden urn suitable for table-top use. Elaborate foliate elements are used on the bowl exterior and rim, and on the ornate ears. The urn is supported by an unusual hexagonal pedestal with a square base. Nineteenth century, origin unknown. 17.5" high by 23.5" wide ear to ear, with a bowl diameter of 18.5". Many layers of old paint have been removed; it has been zinc and powder coated. In fine condition.

Very nice late nineteenth century cast iron garden urn with elaborate ears maked Fiske and with an 1874 patent mark.
Consists of several pieces with an overall height of 28", an ear to ear width of 32" and a bowl diameter of 27", and 11.5" square at the base. Has ben stripped and repainted and is in fine condition.

Very fine antique wrought iron garden gate, American ca 1880. Topped with an unusual scrolled and foliate design it also features gracefully designed finials. The true detail of the design is somewhat obscured by layers of old paint. Overall height is 40" and width is 37". Rust beneath paint - needs restoration.

This "pair" is of the same pattern but different manufacturers, so there are slight size differences. In cast iron they are in a specifically American variant of the style. One is 29.5" high, 22" wide and 19" deep. The other is 28.5" high, 21.5" wide and 19" deep. Both in fine condition.

An interesting hand-wrought table base for the garden or indoors, American early 1900's, with a half inch bevelled glass top (modern). Overall height is 30": base is 39.5" x 31.5"; glass top is 44.5" x 23.5". In good condition with paint suitable inside or out.

An American cast iron garden bench from the Philadelphia foundry of Brines, Chase & Co. - marked at the base of the back support. This foundry was in business for only a few years 1888-1895. Unusual patterning in the seat. 45.5" wide by 37" high by 18" deep. This bench has not been refinished. In good condition.

Very nice American cast iron garden bench in the "curtain" style marked John McLean NY, ca 1880. Maker's name and patent mark are on the reverse of the sunbursts. The bench has intricate detailing and unusual additional scroll work under the arm rests and at the leg stretchers. 46.5" wide; 36.5" high by 16" deep. It has been cleaned, rust-proofed and painted for outdoor use.

Very fine pair of zinc coated cast iron garden urns with egret base each marked JL Mott foundry NY. Additional patent marks inside the base (patented April 11 1871) and on the underside of the rim (patented Feb 8 1872). Cast is very fine. Each is 40" high with a bowl diameter of 29" and a base diameter of 20". Re-painted for use outdoors.

Inverted cone shaped Victorian cast iron garden urn with elaborate ears on original stand, American ca 1890. Entire piece is covered in intricate formal pattern. Overall 40" high with a bowl diameter of 27" and a base 19" square; in two pieces. Multiple layers of old paint have been removed to reveal the design. Rust-proofed and re-painted for the outdoors.
