These herbals, with original hand-color, were published as a medical reference book by Christoph Jacob Trew in Nuremberg in 1757. The original British publication was in 1737. Exquisitely designed and executed depiction of a triumphal march, each plate flowing into the next as part of one long dioarama. From Jacob Tonson's "Caesar", London, 1712.
