This terracotta figure of a cymbal player is modelled on the seventeenth century original in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. It is a figure seen in many garden settings since the 1700's. This is an American version in terracotta ca 1930; an identical one is pictured in Barbara Israel's book (p 142, fig. 2.19). There have been some repairs to this piece, but they have been done well for the most part. The figure is 55" high, 26" wide, 24" deep; the base is 17.5" square.

White garden urn in the tassa style in cast iron ca 1970 suitable for a table top. 16.5" high by 24" diameter and 9" square at base. Some rust otherwise good condition.

Tall, nicely weathered, cast stone urn on plinth ca 1940. Both urn and plinth have elaborate decoration. Overall 57" high; urn 37" high, base 20" high, urn diameter of 25". Loose paint and some cracks, though none seriously detrimental.

An interesting mid-century garden patio set consisting of a tall table and pair of chairs in wrought iron ca 1960. Decoration includes flower sprays and intertwined iron lattice work. Set may be purchased with or without the granite top which is not original. Table is 38" high; 30" wide with top; base diameter is 26". Chairs are 44.5" high, 23" wide and 20" deep. In good condition.

A set of three well designed wrought iron garden chairs with a slung seat of a larger scale metal mesh of criss-cross lattice design ca 1980. Comfortable to sit in and a great look. Each 34" high by 21" wide by 34" deep. Painted matte black and in very good condition.

Charming casting of a standing frog in bronze with a verdigris finish, reminiscent of Beatrix Potter. 8.5" high by 6" wide by 5" deep. in very good condition.

Decorative vintage cast iron urn without ears ca 1930. Very suitable for table top use indoors or out. 15.5" high by 16" in diameter with 6.5" square base. Old white paint finish

Very nice small scale console with elaborate wrought-iron work of leaves and foliate design with a fitted marble top, French ca 1940. Suitable for indoors or out; 26.5" high by 39" wide by 17" deep. Has been rust-proofed and re-painted; in very good condition.

Small folk art mirror with charming cut-out designs in the shape of a window box with canopy. Design cut-outs include goat and deer heads, leaf patterns, lattice and hearts. Of varnished wood, ca 1930. 21" high by 14" wide by 3.5" deep. In fine condition.

A small version of the traditional New Orleans style garden table. In cast iron suitable as a small center table or a side table, American ca 1960. 26" high by 20" in diameter. In very good condition.

A nicely proportioned shallow circular planter with a well weathered finish ca 1970. Planter is of a light weight cast stone/plaster composition, 39" in diameter and approximately 7" deep. The stand visible in photos is for display purposes only.

A set of four garden armchairs of sprung steel in the style of Francois Carre. Each with sunburst seat and back with button centers, and rolled armrests with decorative scroll ca 1980. Each 34.5" high by 23" wide by 24" deep. Painted green; in excellent condition. Please see my blog on this item.
