A twentieth century casting in early aluminum of the rare passion flower design garden bench. Even recastings of this design are rarely found. Design-wise it is closely related to the "laurel" bench design, with similar griffin armrests and quarter moon seat shape. This piece has been stripped, primed and repainted in high gloss oil. It is 39" wide, 31" high, with a seat height of 14.5" and seat depth of 14". An especially fine addition to a small garden space.

Identical in detail and size to its nineteenth century forbears this casting (ca 1920) in aluminum is a lot lighter to move. Stripped, primed and repainted in high gloss oil. Bench is 57" long, 33" high, 17" seat height, 13.5" seat depth.

Elegant garden set consisting of 4 chairs and matching occasional table. Chairs incorporate a fleur de lis or feather motif at crest of back which features floral garlands incorporating lion head motifs over a background of latticed twigs; arms are scrolled acanthus leaves and C scrolls provide the seat supports. Table and chairs have pierced metal tops. These are cast of very heavy aluminum (some alloy involved?) but have a graceful, light appearance...

Pair of standing candelabras suitable for evening events in the garden, ca 1940. Wrought iron with scrolled candle holders and feet supports. Stand 65" tall extendable to 84", 20" wide and 18" deep. In excellent condition.

Pair of scroll back designed (originally collapsible) French cafe chairs, ca 1920's. Along with foldable cafe table of later date. Very graphic chairs with strong back design and grid seats. Chairs 37" high, 17" deep, 19" wide; seat height 18". Fold up table approx. 30" diameter. Seats have dented center front section.

Wrought iron garden chair with spring seat,scrolled back support and gracefully turned arms and legs, the legs ending in a paw design. 37" high 20" wide, seat depth 17" seat height 17". Stripped, rust-proofed and refinished. Beautifully designed and comfortable to sit in.

This is a heavy aluminum piece of elaborate design, with simple wood plank top. Ca 1920's it is a very handsome piece; base; 42" long, 25" wide, 24"high: top; 51" long, 28" wide. Painted white, in excellent condition.

Two extended length very heavy cast iron garden benches, replicas of a Coalbrookdale design from 1851 (G Himmelheber "Cast Iron Furniture" p.118)with additional panel either side of back. 71" long, 32" high; seat depth 12.5", 14.5" high. Newly painted. Posssibly Turkish in origin.

An unusual variant on Twig style garden seating. These cast iron pieces have had their wooden seating replaced with new redwood. Bench: 50" long 31" high; seat depth 18", seat height 16".Chairs 23" wide, otherwise same. Unique set in fine condition & ready for use.
