This wild boar was once a finial on a gate post. Possibly 1930s it is formed from a composition material resembling volcanic stone. Nicely weathered for the garden. 32" high, 13" wide, 16" deep. One hoof has been re-attached.

Pair of cast stone lions oriental in style but more naturalistic than formal temple guardians. Made from cast stone which has a dark lava-stone appearance. Very imposing and appropriately large, ca 1970 each 33" long, 25" high by 16" wide. Nicely defined.

Very realistically appearing buck and doe of painted cast concrete meant for a garden setting, ca 1970. Doe, 26" long, 10" wide, 23" high. Buck, 27" long, 10" wide, 26" high. In very good condition.

This terracotta figure of a cymbal player is modelled on the seventeenth century original in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. It is a figure seen in many garden settings since the 1700's. This is an American version in terracotta ca 1930; an identical one is pictured in Barbara Israel's book (p 142, fig. 2.19). There have been some repairs to this piece, but they have been done well for the most part. The figure is 55" high, 26" wide, 24" deep; the base is 17.5" square.

Pair of cast iron bloodhounds modelled after the originals by Jacquemart ca 1980. In a faux bronze finish 37" and 35" high; bases are approximately 34" x 16". In excellent condition.

Very nicely weathered garden statue of King Neptune surmounting a large fish. In cast stone ca 1970, a fine centerpiece for the garden. Overall 60" high by 24" wide and 18" deep. Good condition.

A nicely composed figure of a putti bearing a garland set upon a naturalistic stone base, cast stone ca 1940. Wonderfully weather worn and comes with its own moss; charming face. 36.5" high by 11" wide and deep. In very good condition.

A nice cast stone statue of a putto with a lamb in very much the eighteenth century style, ca 1970. Nice weathering and traces of moss. 35" high by 19" wide by 14" deep. In fine condition.

Charming bronze/copper fountain of a squatting boy contemplating a frog. He sits on a bronze base with 3 fish heads spouting water. Marked "Jim Davidson" it is in fact produced in Thailand by a company that specializes in garden decor featuring children and does so without being mawkish or cloyingly sentimental. 30" high by 27" wide by 13" deep. In very good condition.

A very self-satisfied resting pig in cast stone, British ca 1950. Totally charming. Figure is 6" high by 15" wide by 7" deep. A few nicks, otherwise fine condition.
