Large cast iron self watering garden urn on impressive plinth marked Kramer Bros. Dayton O, late nineteenth century. Elaborately scrolled oversized ears and classic nineteenth century plinth with decorative panel make this an impressive sculptoral focus for your garden. Old paint surface; no apparent flaws. Urn is 49" high, 49" wide; bowl diameter is 27"; pedestal is 18" square at base.

Large garden urn with elaborate scrolled handles together with plinth, each marked "J W Fiske No 21 & 23 Barclay St., NY." In addition urn is marked "Pat. May 5 1874". 56" high, 40" wide, 18" square at base. Three pieces - some flange teeth sheered where urn cup meets base: otherwise excellent condition. Stripped, rust-proofed and repainted.

A very nice oversized birdcage from the Cotswolds in England ca 1960. Has a pair of turrets, baroque style doorways and a very fancy roof done in color patterned tin tiles hand-cut in a scalloped design. Overall 44" high and 39" wide on a metal base 32" x 14". Old green painted wood; some chips otherwise fine.

Large cast iron garden urn with double handles marked L Dean Utica NY. The basic form of this urn goes back to a Janes Beebe catalogue of the 1850's. Larger versions with the same handles were sold in the 1890's as "Grecian Vase with handles" ( J L Mott catalogue/ Barbara Israel p.154 fig.3.19). This slightly smaller version is ca 1880. 50.5" high, 39" wide, bowl diameter 30".
