A pair of cast iron garden urns in the campagna style with attached metal decorative collar of alternating pairs of bunches of grapes and grape leaves. Each is cast as 1 piece on a shallow (2.5") plinth. These are quite rare; probably ca 1880. They have a wonderful reddish sun-dried patina as befits their origins in Texas. Each piece is 32" high and 24" in diameter. No apparent flaws.

Rare early tassa style urn in cast iron. Bowl has egg and dart rim with scalloped underside. There is a separate collar piece and a fluted column neck attached to a square base. A small piece missing from the rim has been repaired. This style probably dates it to ca 1860. It is large with a 35" basin; overall standing 27" high and 16" square at the base.

Unusual pair of planters in the shape of tree trunks with 4 trunk offshoots. These salt-glazed ceramic pieces are reminiscent of the Portland Stoneware "all weather" ceramic garden urns of the 1880s, and are probably late nineteenth century. There is one central trunk and four branching trunks. There are acanthus and flowering plant designs alternating at the base between branching sections. Each piece is 22" high by 24" wide and is hollow at the base...

Cast iron fountain consisting of dramatic figure of a winged griffin supporting a wide basin with elaborate acanthus design on its underside ca 1870, possibly maunfactured by Fiske. Is in 3 pieces; circular base, griffin support and water basin. Overall height is 46"; basin diameter 35", base diameter 12". Is in excellent condition with no breaks and wonderful surface.

Charming bronze figure of young boy with headband playing panpipes, probably early 1900's. Wonderfully detailed casting with an excellent patina. Set in concrete pond of later vintage. Gentle sound of falling water suitable for indoors as well as out. Figure is 33" high, 9" wide by 12" deep. Minor repairs on one hand and at mouth. Concrete basin is 44" wide, 35" deep, 10" high.

Hand hammered watering can in copper with wonderful old-world character. Alistair Morris ("Antiques from the Garden" & Sothebys director) cites copper as the metal used for eighteenth century watering cans as opposed to tin-plate in the nineteenth. We can probably date this to the eighteenth century. 22" wide, 15" high, 11" wide.
