Set of four finely colored chromolithographs of mushroom by EM Fries in custom frames ca 1860. Fries was the scientist responsible for the scientific categorisation of fungi and these prints are from his "Edible and Poisonous Fungi of Sweden." Pair of large garden urns from the J L Mott Foundry NY ca 1870 in the Morning Glory pattern. The Smithsonian owns several of a variant on these it has used in the Edith Haupt Garden on the Mall. Bowl sides have highly decorative fluting ending in a protruding bottom faced with morning glory blooms, the decorative stems extending beneath. Each is 34" high, bowl diameter is 29"; base is 15" square. Stripped, rust-proofed and re-painted. In very good condition.

Cast iron tables are rare, with an original iron top, rarer still. Listed in the J L Mott catalogue of 1889, and the Westervelt catalogue as the "double Coalbrook table" (Barbara Israel p. 187), this table base was sold with a choice of tops, the metal top (judging by the number surviving) being unusual. Table is 36" long by 24" wide, 27" high: base is 30" x 18". A break to the connecting rod at the base has been fixed and stabilised with an iron bar welded on the underside and is not visible...

A very unusual and attractive garden urn in cast iron with "Egyptian revival" elements ca 1880. Basin is broad with lip decoration of alternating lotus and acanthus leaves, and is encircled by a garland of grape bunches and leaves. The column is fluted as is the base which has formalised lotus leaves in each corner. Urn is 26" wide, 23" high, 12.5" square at base. Stripped, rust-proofed and repainted; in excellent condition.

Very nice side table with top and base encased in copper sheeting over wood - solid sheet with no seams, centre support of tubular steel unfinished, ca 1970. Copper has an excellent patina with no staining. Table top is 31.5" in diameter, base is 22" in diameter; overall height is 30".
