| Rare garden table from Philadelphia ca 1870 with early (possibly original) Prussian Blue marble top. Elaborately scrolled foliate end panels are supported by a scrolled cross piece. Each end panel features the American eagle as its centerpiece. The marble top is nicely worn with a dull slate-like finish. Overall size is 38" wide by 26" deep. Base is approx. 30" by 20". There have been some repairs to this piece - not surprising considering the delicacy of its design - but it is in good usable condition. It has been cleaned, rust-proofed and re-painted. | ||||||||||||
