| American tramp art medicine chest from the late nineteenth century. Multiple layered geometric stacked forms or "lozenges" creating a densely elaborate but symmetrical pattern on the face and two sides. Typically of tramp art it is eminently practical in application with a door opening to shelves and a drawer on the bottom. Overall 30" high, 18" wide and 9" deep. The door is 16" x 9.5", the drawer 17" x 4.5". Some small lozenges missing, but in fine shape otherwise. | ||||||||||
