| A very unusual and attractive garden urn in cast iron with "Egyptian revival" elements ca 1880. Basin is broad with lip decoration of alternating lotus and acanthus leaves, and is encircled by a garland of grape bunches and leaves. The column is fluted as is the base which has formalised lotus leaves in each corner. Urn is 26" wide, 23" high, 12.5" square at base. Stripped, rust-proofed and repainted; in excellent condition. | |||||||||||
