| Pair of large garden urns from the J L Mott Foundry NY ca 1870 in the Morning Glory pattern. The Smithsonian owns several of a variant on these it has used in the Edith Haupt Garden on the Mall. Bowl sides have highly decorative fluting ending in a protruding bottom faced with morning glory blooms, the decorative stems extending beneath. Each is 34" high, bowl diameter is 29"; base is 15" square. Stripped, rust-proofed and re-painted. In very good condition. | ||||||||||||
