| Large cast iron garden urn with double handles marked L Dean Utica NY. The basic form of this urn goes back to a Janes Beebe catalogue of the 1850's. Larger versions with the same handles were sold in the 1890's as "Grecian Vase with handles" ( J L Mott catalogue/ Barbara Israel p.154 fig.3.19). This slightly smaller version is ca 1880. 50.5" high, 39" wide, bowl diameter 30". | ||||||||||
