| This magnificent old, large pendant is from Tibet – handcrafted by a local artisan many years ago is very old. The repousse design of two dragons surrounds a sizeable piece of amber, which is a stone most often seen in older Tibetan pieces. The elegant repousse design is immaculately executed and continues on the bail and covers the back, as well. In the center of the design on the back is a flower and the backs of the dragons are articulated as on the front. This is one of the most extraordinary Tibetan pieces I have found and it extremely well-crafted. It is made of Tibetan silver, which can have varying amounts of silver or sometimes none at all. The pendent itself measures 4” tall x 4” wide at the widest point and the amber is 5/8” deep. It is strung on a black which I added. It would also look great on a heavy silver chain or another color cord. This is truly the most magnificent and exotic piece of artistry that would that I have found. It is worth having for a long time. | ||
