| English early Victorian Neptune Jug. Large Neptune Jug Flow Blue on white, relief moulded with Neptune masks and dolphin handle. No makers mark, probably Staffordshire. This jug's shape dates it to the late 1830's. It may have been sold as a second, as the base has been very slightly warped in the firing so that it does not stand absolutely flush, however this has not been a problem, since this magnificent jug has lasted since Queen Victoria was a girl with no damage at all, no chips cracks or hairlines. | ||
