| Majolica basket weave comport, c. 1870. A very attractive example of English majolica in the form of a low comport, or berry stand, moulded as a basket weave, strewn with branches of wild roses, the underside in sharkskin mottled colours. Unmarked. No chips, cracks or hairlines, one 5mm glaze loss below rim. | ||
