~POISON BOTTLE!~Mulford's CARDIAC TONIC Pills~c1890!~
This outstanding, embossed DIGITALIS poison bottle is unopened. It is 3" tall. Even the cork has the company emblem! THE H.K. MULFORD COMPANY was located in PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. FRIABLE TABLETS were invented by William Upjohn, M.D. in 1885. This meant that the pills could be easily crushed or dissolved. Contents are sold only for collector purposes and must not be used in any way.
