| This fantastic electric belt is still in its original box. The box is dated 1907. The price for this electric belt in 1907 was $3.00. It was made by THE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE COMPANY. The belt, including strap and buckle, is 38" long. It is in complete, mint condition. The box protected it well! At this time in history, there was a fascination with electricity. Many companies claimed to be able to cure almost any disease with electricity. Most electric belts of the day, including this model, did produce a current when they were soaked in vinegar and water! A line drawing of a similar model is shown. The line drawing pictures a three buckle version. This model is a single buckle version.
