French Lick, Indiana Patent Medicine From World War II

This is a scarce variant of TRAXO, a well known patent medicine. THE PINUS MEDICINE COMPANY was located in MONTICELLO, ILLINOIS. During WORLD WAR II, production was moved to FRENCH LICK, INDIANA. French Lick, by the way, is better known for its PLUTO WATER SPRINGS. The move was so quick that the company only had time to print boxes with the FRENCH LICK, INDIANA address. The old stock of embossed bottles with the MONTICELLO, INDIANA address were still used! This unopened remedy is 6.5" tall. Contents are sold only for collector purposes and must not be used in any way. Please be sure to see our other catalog listings if you enjoy old drug store and medical items. New items are added weekly. Thank you for visiting with us!
