Unframed, this fine watercolor depicts a boy at a market. 16" x 12"--Polly Nordell was the wife of Carl Nordell and she studied at RISD and with Toman, the Chase School, the ASL and with Dumond and Henri. Widely exhibited.
Signed and dated 1890-91--this academic nude recalls Eakins, since Sheppard studied at the Pennsylvania Academy. Nice bio in Falk's WWAA. 24" x 18" framed.
