Oil on canvas, 34" x 47" oil on canvas and in the nice antique black and gold frame, approx. 39" x 52"--Studio of Essian van de Velde, the original composition 17th C, this work could easily date into the 18th C.
29.5" x 41.5" oil on cradled oak panel. Fantasy view of Solomon's temple complete with the Holy of Holies and an area for animal sacrifices. Neefs completed several in this genre, although this is the only depiction of Solomon's Temple I can find in the literature. Note inscription with date of 1613.
