Henry Leland, American, active 1850-1877

Leland was an expatriate who lived and painted in Boston and exhibited in the Paris Salons. He is listed in Fink's American Art in the 19th C Paris Salons and exhibited at the Boston art club in the 1870's. This work resembles some of the titles from the Boston AC. Oil on wood panel, 10" x 8.5" and is fully signed H Leland, Paris and the date of (18)76.
