Fine stoneware art pottery vase by the Zanesville Stoneware Company of Zanesville, Ohio. This piece was made about 1915 and is an example of the pottery's "Zasko" line. This piece is signed on the bottom with a vertical, impressed "ZASKO" and the number "18". The letters are somewhat glazed over, but still readable (please see close-up photos).

Size: 3.75" tall x 5" widest diameter (at the shoulder)

This piece is an especially well-decorated example, featuring loosely-painted impressionist renderings of flowers and leaves using light blue, green, and maroon glazes against a thick matte gray micro-crystalline glaze. This vase is shape number 18, it’s a beautiful form and shows off this magnificent glaze very well.

The vase is in perfect condition with no chips, hairlines, repairs, crazing, or any other damage. It will be a fine addition to any collection of arts and crafts pottery or Zaneware - ZSC production.
