Antique Chinese Bronze statue of ZhenWu, the Taoist god, supreme Emperor of the Dark Heaven, also named as The perfected Warrior. He sits in a dignified posture befitting as a celestial emperor. He is wearing a official robe, with a dragon emblazoned on his breastplate, his feet are bare, , he forms a a sacred gesture of his right hand, with his left hand rest in his lap, his eyes were originally inlaid. There are traces of pigment on the bronze surface. His robe is decorated in front with a five -clawed dragon. There are a turtle sporting with a snake at the lower center, and two dragons chasing a flaming pearl in his lower robe. Excellent condition.
