NEZUMI-SHINO KASHIBACHI

Quality antique reproduction (more like "re-creation" with respect, called 'utsushi' piece as a traditional Japanese art form) of early Nezumi-Shino ("Gray" Shino) ware in Momoyama period, used as confectionary-bowl ('kashibachi') for the light meal served in the tea ceremony circa Meiji-Taisho period. In fine antique condition, with expected sign of use and no major damage as seen.
