Because of its smaller bottom rim (kodai), this Satsuma ware piece is recognized to be made by the Korean potters in Hizen area in kyushu region who were brought from Korean peninsula in the early Edo period.
(Therefore, the Satsuma pieces with the larger kodai made by the Japanese potters are defined to be made after this era, as they could not make like the Korean potters could.) So, actually this piece proves the high skill of Korean potter.
In fine antique condition, with gold restorations (kintsugi).
