| This is an adorable console made from solid walnut during the second half of the 19th century topped by its original serpentine shaped inset marble (Such marble is a Pink Phocaean originally coming from Le Var in the south of France) sitting upon the lovely bombe belt centering a shell and supported by gracefully scrolled cabriole legs connected to each other thanks to a stretcher mounted with finial. This piece is in overall good condition; some minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age but nothing obvious. This piece is for sale as is. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 34”high/ 39”wide/ 16”deep. | |||||||||||
