An early 'crizzled' glass bottle, exceptionally and unusually very finely diamond-point engraved with foliage. 52mm high. Kangxi, 1662-1722. Early crizzled glass snuff bottles are known, but I have not seen another with this high quality etching. A small Imperial glass dish from the Shorenstein collection, dated to Kangxi and also engraved in diamond point, was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, sale 2831, lot 2913.
