| Japanese Showa period Kimekomi figure, carrying a large axe and riding a black bear. C. 1940. A very attractive doll, with Gofun face and heavy silk brocade dress. The face and headgear suggest a representation of Momotaro, (The Peach Boy), from one of the many folk-tales of his adventures. Good condition, 12 inches, (30 cms) tall. | ||||||||||
