Very nice Japanese doll Bijin-ningyo, elegant standing figure of a beautiful woman dressed in silk kimono and embroidered obi, wearing hair ornaments, mounted on a black lacquer wood base with a red lacquer lamp at one side. Meiji/Taisho Period. c 1900. Very good condition. 15 1/2 by 9 inches.
