This beautiful creamware plate has such rich detail in the two different wicker moulded and pierced designs all around the scalloped edges. It has the impressed and printed markings of the Waechtersbach Prussia Earthenware co. from 1894 to 1906. There is evidence of wear mainly as scuffs to the raised design areas(as seen in photos)...

Wonderful green leaf majolica handled dish by Schramberg dating to 1910 to 1920. It has great details with edging and veins and ruffled detail as well as the twig handle. It measures about 9" X 8 1/2" X 1 1/2" tall. It has tiniest chips to a few of the pointed spikes of the many, one of which appears to have been repaired, and age crazing. See 4th photo. These are not noticeable to the naked eye and certainly don't detract from it's beauty...

This rare piece seems from La Belle Époque,(French for "Beautiful Era"), a period in French and Belgian history that is conventionally dated as starting in 1871 and ended with WWI. Two devastating world wars and their aftermath made the Belle Époque appear to be a time of joie de vivre (joy of living) in contrast...

This large footed tureen with original lid was made and marked by the St. Armand Hamage Nord factory. Saint-Amand-les-Eaux lies in northern France near Valenciennes. It was was known for it's faience. The tureen handles and lid handles are very ornate, overall it is a beautiful shape. The 1st and 3rd photos are best for actual color. It does have an old chip in the top rim, which I have not cleaned or sealed...

This petite Reinhold Schlegelmilch bowl has such elegant plumed shape, further highlighted with intense cobalt and gilt painting. What an incredible shape, indicative of the fine workmanship associated with these pieces, which are much sought after. The floral bouquet has so many wonderful shades in flow blue. It is in perfect condition, with minimal loss to the gold only seen under close scrutiny. I can find no chips or cracks...

This pristine Doulton Burslem plate has back marks circa 1886. The exquisite branches of wild roses is hand painted over transferware, highlighted with raised gold. The gold edged, scalloped and fluted ruffled edged are a pale pink blending into the cream center. The body is not glossy but a soft matt, however the back side has aglossy glaze. The condition is perfect, no scratches, chips, or loss of gilt. The back, shown in last photo, shows the 1886 mark and artist's signature...

This delightful French Gien plate has a scene of a pheasant hunter, hitting his mark in black transferware. The surrounding unique blue transfer is highly embellished with huntsmen type masks and elaborate cartouche.! The plate, marked No.2 of the series, and titled "Chasse de Faisan" surrounding the scene. I couldn't resist this unusual majolica server, even though it has some wear. The glaze is so rich, and has almost irridescent look when the light catches it. How clever the curled, reeded stem forms the handle! It is deep green, the different colorations in photos are only reflections due to the deep glaze. In fact I left the dust on it to reduce the glare. Each leaf tip has a teeny chip, but it is underneath and doesn't show unless you turn it over, as shown in photo...

Sold, Thank you!
After recent study of this piece, I've revised the description and price from my earlier research many years ago!. I believe it must be pre 1921, as it is marked France, with the impressed mark St Clement France and their number 7516. The 19th century pieces, had a 3 digit impressed mark. It has beautiful colorations and detailed molding...

1900-1920 Three Crown China back mark. Though the images of roses is worn with much use, I just couldn't leave this heavy teapot stand behind! I love the raised swirls of the design, and these wonderful teapot stands are hard to come by...I think they were certainly well used. This one still has a lot of life left and so unique for your next tea party! 6 1/2" dia.

The artistic detail with raised hand painting gives this rare plate such dimension. The deep cobalt edging is heavily gilded with such a unique shape! The sturgeon is surrounded by more fish, sea shell, and oyster. It has double markings (more valuable) for Haviland Limoges dating it 1876 to 1889. Excellent condition. Measures 8" sq. A stunning addition for your collection!

This is a very rich older version of the flow blue Watteau pattern made by the Doulton Factory in Staffordshire, England circa 1895. The center design is from a painting by the well known artist Watteau, and features an elegant hunting party in the woods, at rest with their guns and faithful dogs. It is surrounded by a wide and elaborate border with swags draping into the center. It has an impressed 8 petaled circle and artists mark on back as well as their printed mark. There is a chip only o...

This beautiful scalloped and embossed compote has a most unique decoration of underglaze transfer-printing with characteristics of flow blue, a result of the glazing process. This fine example has no repetition of the floral, foliate, and cartouche designs in the bowl. The patterned relief handles are quite lovely. The underneath of the pedestal is marked with an impressed 2 and 8. It measures 10" across the handles X 9" width, x 5.25" high. Thank you for visiting!
