The pattern Bristol by Crown Ducal and color is highly collectible year round, but is especially enjoyed during the Christmas holidays! These 4 rimmed cereal bowls are also perfect for serving desserts, or fruits. The charming toile pattern of birds and florals is indicative of the chinoiserie design which the British became enamored with during the 1800's. I believe the pattern dates back to the late 1800's and was discontinued in 1931...

Handsome pair of half round turned and fluted mahogany wall brackets, with great patina! This pair is carved of two seperate pieces of solid mahogany I love that they even have a little lip to the shelf round. Wall brackets add such great design when paired with paintings. Nicks and slight stains appropriate with age only add to their charm I think. 9" X 7 1/2" with 4 1/2" projection

I've tried to buy these from dealers in Switzerland, only to find they wouldn't part with their "best personal carryall"! I think it would also look great hung in a mud room or young man's room to stash treasures. The leather has wonderful rich color of age and the leather could use a cleaning, though it isn't bad.

It seems a coffee grinder must have been a required and necessary item in all European households from the beginning of time! When my electic grinder died, I used my vintage German "decorative" grinder (very similar to this one) and still use it! It never fails me and I can enjoy it's presence as well as effeciency! This one was made circa 1920 by Geschmiedetes , a West German Co. known for their grinders. It's made of lovely blond wood, with black painted wood knobs...
