This huge and very heavy tray, (4 lbs.), is beautifully hand painted with a beribboned bouquet including lily of the valley, roses, tulips, daisies, and more.It measures 19 3/4" and is 1" deep. Most unique to add to your tole or tray collection. Would make a wonderful tray table as well on an ottoman. Expected wear shown in photos. I found this in an antique fair in Zurich, so it could be from any European country. Thank you for visiting!

This ironstone plate is from a series by Wood & Sons of England circa 1940. The center scene of the 2 hunters on their horses with their hounds is very vivid with realism. The brown transferware pattern of peonies, roses, and foliage forms a deep border. this particular scene is quite sought after by collectors of brown transferware and hunting scenes. In excellent condition, with only crazing due to age. Marked on back Alpine white ironstone Wood & Sons England. Measures 10"...

Oh so precious! These 3 cases might have been hand made to keep a bride's wedding silver! Not professional, but she expertly embroidered them, check out the precise lettering stitches! Each of the embroidered ribboned wreaths is varied in the colors she used. When opened up, each case has attached flannelette stitched to make 12 slots for knives, forks, and spoons, and a flap to secure them.. It seems to be of a linen/cotton blend with pale pink buttonhole hand stitching around all 4 sides...

One side of this lovely large hand made tea cozy depicts a stunning winged griffin which typically is viewed as a guardian of sacred places...Well, if your tea ritual is sacred to you, then here's your guardian! Even the opposite side is of light to medium weight pale pink linen , enhanced with button hole embroidered cut work in a design of ribbon tied bouquet! So unusual and truly fabulous. Now laundered (I need to press it again, as I photoed while still damp)...

This wonderful size to add to your collection , especially during the holidays. The pattern Bristol by Crown Ducal and color is highly collectible year round, but is especially enjoyed during the Christmas holidays! . The charming toile pattern of birds and florals is indicative of the chinoiserie design which the British became enamored with during the 1800's. I believe the pattern dates back to the late 1800's and was discontinued in 1931...

This lovely coffee pot is considered pink transfer ware, though some prefer to call it red. The pattern Bristol by Crown Ducal and color is highly collectible year round, but is especially enjoyed during the Christmas holidays! This pattern was discontinued circa 1950 I believe. SOLD, thank you!
This precious clock has such intricate detail in the work. You can see the feathers on the lovebirds, cherub facial features and even more. I just love the figures of the cherubs, the smallest has hands clasped behind...maybe waiting for me to turn off the alarm.! Well I have gotten rather attached as I have used it nightly to make sure it works well, and it does! Just be sure not to over wind it!A true delight to see first thing in the morning...

I recently found this amazing hanky in Paris and could hardly believe the intricate hand work! The bouquet of roses, daisies, lily of the valley and more have such detail. The colors are so bright and vivid. The bouquet is surrounded by swirling car-touche woven into the sheer linen. It's hard to believe, but that even seems to be hand stitched, as there are no 2 exactly alike. I've spent much time examining even with a jewelers loupe...

Ethereal linen lawn handkerchief has 1 1/2" embroidered net lace with butterflies and sprigs of flowers all around. The lace edging was made for it, not pieced together! Perfect for bridal use as well as the butterfly aficionado! I found this unused in Switzerland, but have just laundered it! Oops, I think the close up 3rd photo is of the back side! Will try to redo soon. 10 1/4" square

This yummy "butter cup yellow" linen appliqued leaves with embroidered berries on crisp white linen is absolutely divine! All work is by hand and without a doubt by a professional. I feel almost certain it was made in Madeira. It measures 80" X 62" including the wide 2" yellow linen border. The yellow is not quite as deep yellow as the photos show. The medium weight linen is cool and crisp, Oh so elegant! There is a faint small stain, that would not show in photos. There is a tiny hand sewn laun...

SOLD! Thank you!
This fabulous example of Norwegian Handwork came to me from a woman who collected as well as made lace. Original hardangar work from Norway is not very common, as it was made for home use not for commercial. It is now brilliant white after many soakings! The stitching is so precise you could even use the reverse side!It does have some broken threads and one faint stain seen in close up photos. Pricing takes that into account. I love the patterns and the Z effect! Measures 23" X 22"
