| Rare French Christofle silver plate cocktail tray with engraved Martini & Rossi original recipe. Underneath the Dry Martini cocktail heading is an engraved art deco image of a martini glass including the olive! The engraved lines around the edges of the tray are knotted in the center of each side. A unique piece of advertising, as well as a quite collectible piece of vintage Art Deco Christofle silver. Engraved with the legendary Christofle France marks. If you aren't familiar with Christofle silver, it is one of the most desirable still today. Indeed , it was chosen by Napoleon III, other royalty and aristocrats.The silver plating is extremely heavy. This and the elegant design later made it an excellent choice for hotels, shipping lines, fine restaurants, as well. Feel free to ask any questions or more photos.
