| Coming from the same Swiss trousseau,I decided to offer these handsome sheets together. (A)The white on white sheet is early machine embroidery,lovely and well padded. It has a nice drawn and joined overcast bars forming an X hemstitching.The fabric seems to be cotton with maybe some linen. (B)The pale blue embroidered sheet is hand embroidered, and the letters and leaves are filled with tiny French sanding stitches. This is an elegant drapey, older metis,linen with perhaps some cotton and the embroidery is in the Appenzell style, though the flowers have 6 lobes. The hemstitching has drawn and needle wrapped ladderwork. I think they would be stunning on a pair of twin beds! Shipping and handling included | ||
