| This heavenly linen sheet and bolster cover are of the finest wet spun linen, it feels like silk but with the incredible cold of antique linen. It has a beautiful machine embroidered by hand pattern with highlights of cutwork and drawnwork hemstitching across each end of the huge 60" x 21'' pillow/bolster case and across and down the 20" turndown. The sheet measures 90" wide!. It is a creamy linen and in excellent condition as found. there's a slight rusty storage stain,shown in photos, that will most likely fade with laundering. It's becoming harder to fine this type of luxurious antique linen...beautiful but unsurpassed for heavenly sleeping. I will be listing more from this Italian estate. I estimate this to be circa 1880. | ||
