| A nice example of a Moche molded anthropomorphic vessel c.100-860A.D. measuring 7" in height by 5 3/4" in width. The jar is a pale tan base color with dark chocolate highlights. It depicts a serious looking warrior with huge ear spools, an inverted triangular neckpiece, and a head adornment with a raised mammal (fox?). The piece is intact and without restoration. There is a slightly abraded area on the very tip of the nose but it is in otherwise excellent as-found condition. | ||
