| A Jamaquoque shaman figure from Ecuador...c.400-100A.D. The figure stands 6" in height by 4 3/4" at the widest. Depicted is a shaman in a trance with arms raised and eyes at half mast wearing huge ear spools and a long necklace extending to his knees with a circular element in the middle most like representing a mirror. It is a beautiful piece but appears to have possibly been exposed to the elements as the detail is not a crisp as it could be. The very tip of his raised arm has been professionally restored. This is a great piece for the price! | ||
