| A superb example of a Classic Maya polychrome double frog bowl with pseudoglyphs painted in rich burnt orange and a light tangerine against a rich cream slip. The bowl measures 7 1/4" at the widest diameter by 4 1/4" in height. This ornately decorated vessel also has floating elongated quadrangles with fine line cross hatching enclosed. It comes from Central America and dates ca400A.D.-850A.D. | ||
