| A deeply hewn hard pale green stone zoomorphic stone feline measuring 8" in height by 9 1/2" in length and weighing 12.6 pounds. It was collected in the early 60's in Peru by a geologist working for Phillip's Petroleum and has been in the family since. It is most likely Chimu and I was told that it was found with several other large carved stones...one of which had "a face with lobster-like claws" and another with the head of a jaguar. I have had it examined and it is definitely authentic to the area and the period and will come with a COA. | ||
